Overview
The Quick-Lift System™ consists of the Quick-Lift™, the z-axis lift assist, coupled with either the Hinged Arm for small work areas, or the Quick-Line, an overhead x and y-axis motor-driven traverse that covers large work areas. Quick-Lift(s)™ are used to handle a wide range of products weighing up to 600lbs. Quick-Lift(s)™ handle heavy or frequently repeated lifts with ease. Operators can work quickly and easily with precision, which contributes to a better and more efficient working environment

History
The Quick-Lift Line™ is made in Sweden by Kahlman Produkter, AB and has been in production since 1988. We are proud to state that in more than 12 years of use, no Quick-Lift™ lift motor or Quick-Line™ drive motor has ever failed or been replaced - a testament to the reliability of the system. Every lift is tested prior to delivery to customers to ensure complete quality control and have been designed to meet or exceed UL/CSA standards. The goal of the Quick-Lift™ System is a comprehensive and safe ergonomic solution for each lifting application.
A Brief History of the Quick Lift System
Quick-Lift™
The Quick-Lift™ is the integral component of any Quick-lift™ System and is integrated with a unique maneuver handle. The maneuver handle senses the amount of up or down-stroke force applied by the operator, effectively sensing acceleration. These forces are then reflected by the lifting action of the Quick-Lift™ motor. Regardless of the weight of the load, only 1/3 ounces of operating force are required to lift the load. This allows the operator to feel a direct and instinctive control of the lifting application. In addition, the handle provides a neutral ergonomic grip while freeing a hand that may be used to control the part. When you release the grip on the operating handle, the load is automatically balanced* allowing the operator to use both hands to position the part. (*For 165lbs or less)
Hinged Arm click to Quick-lift Arm Specifications Page
The Hinged Arm is designed to alleviate the ergonomic, positioning, and safety problems created by manually driven rail systems or traditional jib cranes. The Hinged Arm decreases the force required by operators to move the mass overhead. By mounting the Quick-Lift™ motor over the pillar, using an aluminum double-hinged arm, and needle bearing components, the operator is left with significantly less overhead mass. The Hinged Arm allows flexible sideways movement with a minimal risk of over-swinging and can be mounted on a pillar, wall, or ceiling.

Quick-Line

The Quick-Line is the "big brother" of the Quick-Lift™ System and is a unique motor-driven rail system that can cover large areas. The Quick-Line is effective for applications such as conveyor belts, multiple workstations, or other large work areas. Positioning is controlled by the patented sensor, which, controls the four drive motors, two in each x and y-axis respectively. By sensing the change in angle of the lifting wire to control position, the operator has a free hand to control the part. In addition, the operator has a neutral ergonomically sound grip, which alleviates hand, wrist, and finger fatigue.

With two drive motors in each axis, the Quick-Line is able to react quickly to changes in any direction as well as starting and stopping. The system matches the speed and position of the operator without overshooting the target. The Quick-Line has a span in the x-axis, of between ~10' and ~40' feet, and an infinite length in the y-axis. The system is mounted to high steel structure or floor pillars.

Gripping Devices

The key to a good lifting solution is precision, speed, and most of all, a comprehensive gripper. Quick-Lift™ gripping devices are custom designed by local distributors for each application. With over 12 years and 1500 installations worth of experience and design, each gripper is optimized to how it can be handled, lifted, moved, twisted, or turned. In addition, we involve our customers and operators in our specialized design process to create the best possible solution.

By offering a complete turnkey lifting solution, we provide unique and user-friendly devices that are easy-to-use, built-to-last, and that will increase profitability. After all, we are the experts when it comes to the lift, but our customers are the experts when it comes to the lifting application.

Culture
Safety is at the foreground of each project a Quick-Lift™ is involved in from ergonomics to employee safety and health. The Quick-Lift™ was designed with several standard safety features. In the event of a power failure: the Quick-Lift™ has a failsafe electromagnetic brake to shield against accidentally dropping parts.

Programmable stops: can be set to limit the action of the lift. Weight overload: the lift will not allow an operator to exceed the maximum lifting capacity. In addition, the lift and grippers can be programmed to ensure safe handling of the materials. It is our belief that solving lifting problems is not a matter of simply selling a lift to complete a sale. Instead, we believe in solving lifting problems with an ergonomically safe lifting solution from the lift to the gripper, a sound ergonomic solution that will pay for itself in both a healthy workforce and in increase productivity.
